We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist for a direct-hire position in San Leandro, CA.
In this role, you will independently develop, implement, and oversee strategies and programs to enable compliance with applicable federal, state, and local Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulatory requirements, and organizational EH&S and Workplace Safety (WPS) policies and standards. Contributes to the success of Environmental Health and Safety programs through implementation, evaluation, monitoring, and enhancement. Contributes to employee safety and protection through independent implementation of Environmental Health and Safety programs and training efforts. Ensures high-quality service by resolving standard issues and acting as a resource on EH&S and WPS matters. Recognizes and assesses hazards and risks by developing and implementing best practices for identifying, analyzing, documenting, and communicating standard and nonstandard workplace environmental health and safety risk trends. Prepares high-quality analysis and reports regarding the state of environmental health and safety. Ensures risk control by interpreting general guidelines to promote workplace safety and compliance and evaluate the effectiveness of measures to improve workplace safety outcomes.

This direct hire/permanent position will be onsite/ in the office in San Leandro, CA during normal business hours Monday-Friday. This role will pay between $94,000 – $138,00 per year and will offer a great benefits package.
